Decorating with vinyl

I have discovered a new hobby and that is decorating with vinyl. Thanks to my good friend Angie, it is not only fun but inexpensive as well! These are the 1st two of many vinyl projects to come! Here is a link to Angie's site if interested!

Busy Busy Busy and did I say Busy??

The kids have started there spring sports so we are always running all over the place trying to get everyone where they need to be! Peighton is on the East Jessamine Middle School soccer team and is the starting Keeper(goalie). They have played 3 games so far and are undefeated to date. She has only been scored on 1 time and the other two games were a shut out!!! We are very proud of all the hard work and many practice hours she puts into being a successful soccer player. Coltin is on an 11 year old traveling baseball team. This will prove to be a challenge for our family once the tournaments start but this is something Coltin really wants to do so we will make it work somehow! Nolan has also started practicing T-ball for the Yankees again. Kami's soccer practices have started as well. The games will start after spring break. I think I am going to try and clone myself so that I won't miss anything. Peighton showing some skill and attacking the ball!!

Peighton still warming up!

The Celtics Cheerleaders

Kami's cheerleaded for Coltin's basketball team this year and at the end of the season, they had a little dance/cheer competition. I thought they did well considering the ages of the girls. They did have lots of fun though and that is the most important thing! I also was shocked at the little attitude that Kami showed during the performance!

Sweet words

This is a conversation that I was blessed to overhear!

Daddy-"Nolan, why are you so rotten?"
Nolan- "Cause I'm rotten."
Daddy-"Who made you rotten?"
Nolan- "me!"
Daddy-"No, who made you rotten?"
Nolan-"Jesus!"

Simple Things

Even though today was our anniversary, it was actually just another day in the life. I am not saying this in a negative way at all but rather just stating it like it is. I would not change it for anything. After a very long day, I finally came home and found this simple little note and "gift" that my precious Kami took the time to make. It is the little and simple things like this that makes it all worthwhile!

Happy Anniversary to us!!

On Thursday March 19, Tim and I will have been married for 15 years! WOW it doesn't really seem that long but then again I can't really remember life without him! He is the most perfect husband in every way. I could go on and on about him but I will just stop at that! We have been contemplating for a while on what to do for our 15th annivesary. At this point in our lives, we are not financially able to take a trip to Paris or cruise the ocean blue. However, we did decide to get each other something that we needed and wanted. My need and want was a Bosch mixer! I have been wanting this and researching mixers for what seems like months! When my dear friend Natalie gave me the starter for a 30 year old sourdough bread this week, I really had to get down to making a decision. I was watching a used one on Ebay and the auction went up to $50 less than what a new one would be! Tim just made an executive decision and told me to just buy the new one! I am sooooo very excited! Now I will be watching every day for the FedEx truck!!

Tim's need and want was a new grill! Last week when the weather was nice, Tim picked up a tank of propane so we could grill out for the 1st time this year. To his dismay, when he hooked up the gas and tried to light it, it didn't work. The burners were corroded and the grill was just weathered and a big mess! I have to say that the grill has definitely done its part for out family! It has weathered many years at out home! Sooooo, Tim went out and bought a new one! He has already used it twice and given it a name! "Steely" is now a part of our family!

So after 15 awesome years of marriage, 4 beautiful children, and countless blessings, we celebrate our love and eternal companionship!
