Snow Snow Snow and a little sledding
I do believe that KY had the most snow that I have ever seen fall in my 20 years here. There was 8 inches in some spots that we walked! Especially in our back yard! We were literally trudging through the snow! It felt like when I was a little girl growing up in FL and walking/trudging on the white beach sand. Only ALOT colder!! Although this has made us hermits for the past few days, we did finally take advantage of having no school and go the few blocks down the street to sled! I have to admit that I did NOT take part in the sledding, I was the official photographer and helper of putting gloves back on, pulling underarmour down, putting hats back on, listening to "I'm cold but I don't want to quit yet" and all things pertaining to sledding other than actually sledding! The kids had a great time with a few of their friends. Peighton opted out on this adventure!

A little bit of middle school basketball
It is really hard to get still pictures of a boy on the basketball court, so I decided to take a little video instead. Feel free to mute the sound so you will not have to hear this poor child's mother and father yelling.(all positive things of course :)) BTW, the poor boy I am referring to is #51. Also take note of how large(as in tall) the other teams players are. We have since realized that in the state of KY, parents will hold their boys back and not let them start kindergarten, until they are 7!! This makes for a 13-14 year old playing 6th grade ball, 14-15 year old playing 7th grade ball, and full grown MEN, playing 8th grade ball. KY REALLY takes their basketball serious!!

Prayers needed for Baby B
I came across this amazing, humbling, scary, loving, heart wrenching story through a friend of my cousins, blog. This little guy, Bronson, needs all the prayers we can muster up, not to mention all the support and comfort his dear mother needs as well. I find myself hugging my kiddos a little tighter and putting off the "little things" alot more lately!
