I was going through some pictures and found this one. This is one of my all time favs!! We were at the apple orchard and was able to snap this adorable picture of my 2 youngest. Oh how cute they can be when we least expect it!!

Nolan got "caught"

Nolan got "caught" at school doing something good! When a student gets caught, they get to go the the office and receive an apple necklace. This is a very special treat as their name is called out on the intercom and then also entered in to the weekly drawing for a cool prize!! Nolan was actually caught on his first day of school!! He got "caught" holding the door for all of his friends!!

Coltin, Trystan, good friend Jarryd, and Keegan. Coltin and Trystan battled over a fly ball and Coltin caught it. Trystan's reply was "you only caught it because you have 2 legs!" I thought that was really funny in a sad kinda way!!!

Nolan was a little apprehensive about posing with Big L at first. It didn't take him long to warm up though!!

Lexington Legends Baseball Game

We went to the Lexington Legends game where Trystan had been invited to throw the first pitch of the night. It was very exciting for all of the kids as they were able to go in the players locker room and meet them and were also given several gifts from the players. I think between all of them they recieved a total of 7 bats, a glove, a pair of batting gloves, and several baseballs. WOW It was a very memorable experience that is sure to be talked about amongst the cousins for years to come.

First day of school for Nolan

Nolan had absolutely no problem today leaving mom and heading for school! No tears just alot of questions and curiousity! He was very excited to be riding the bus home with Mr. Rex. Mr. Rex has been our family's pre-K and kindergarten bus driver since Coltin was at the Village.

My nephew Brannon graduated from Navy Basic Training on July 3rd. I snapped this picture when he came home for a short weekend. He will be stationed in Nevada. From left to right: his brothers Keegan and Trystan, Brannon, Coltin Peighton, Nolan and Kami.

I have started babysitting again this school year. Right now I only have little miss Naelee whos is 2 1/2 months old. She is also the daughter of Nolan's preschool teacher Ms. Tasha. Our family has already grown to love her. In fact, when they get home from school they do nothing but fuss over who's turn it is to hold her!

Nolan will start on the 20th but he was able to check his bus out this week!!

Long time no blog!!

So it has been over a year since I made this blog page and almost that long since I have posted anything on it! I couldn't figure out how to post for the longest time and then realized that I just needed to sign in!!!! DUH! Anyway...we have been really busy this spring and summer! I will be posting pictures often now!!
